A little about myself

André Gomes, also known as Mr. Dre, was born in South Africa in 1974 and moved to Portugal at the age of 17.
He has always had a deep passion for music, and it is an area that he truly enjoys pursuing.
He began his acting journey at school parties in South Africa and later performed at various small discos and bars in Portugal.
For personal reasons, he took a break for a few years but made a comeback in 2016.
In 2018, he developed a passion for event hosting and started animating weddings, anniversaries, private parties, corporate events, and other gatherings.
He adapts the musical selection based on the specific event and the preferences of the attendees.
He has extensive knowledge of music across all genres and cultures, including hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, as well as contemporary Latin, Brazilian, African, House, Afro House, Dance, Electronic, Rock, Lounge, Chill Out, Techno, Tech House, Trance, and Deep House music.
In 2021, he began producing his tracks and later joined the record labels D&D Records and No Pain Records.
By 2025, he became part of Doc Idaho Productions.
In 2025, he began producing music as an independent artist under the name PURESOUND PRODUCTIONS. This experience allowed him to explore new sounds and develop his style.
He has great talent as a Video and Art Designer, creating his own videos and photo art, which he showcases through live demonstrations at his events.
His technique involves Digital DJing, along with extensive knowledge of sound equipment and electronics.
